Designed with Italian mountaineer Simone Moro, the La Sportiva G2 SM is being marketed as the ultimate boot for the serious high-altitude mountaineer. Designed specifically for use on peaks over 6,000 metres, La Sportiva have developed a boot that manages to save on weight without sacrificing comfort. An extremely warm boot with multiple layers of insulation, the G2 SM still manages to weigh in at just 900g thanks to its honeycomb structure and the use of La Sportiva's latest lightweight materials. Additionally, it features the first use of a dual BOA lace-up system that gives the user fantastic adjustability in the fit of the boot even when wearing gloves.
